I'm an amateur photographer currently working on getting my butt into college for a degree in photojournalism.
I love powerful, conceptual photography as well as wildlife work. I'm using a Nikon D5000 digital camera (SLR).
I also love musicals and daydreaming. I'm interested in Arts, History, and creative writing. For some reason, I'm also horrifyingly fascinated with strange human behavior. When in the mood for kicking back and watching TV, I enjoy Sam & Dean Winchester just as much as i do Doctor Who. And I'm absolutely fond of traveling, seeing new places with different cultures, and finding new stories. Good stuff!

Therians vs. Furries

So recently, I found out there's a word for me; Therian/Otherkin :) Which makes me happy. This post is just an assemblage on the differences between the two.
- Furries usually wear animal costumes, where therians may use animal pelts to facilitate shifts, but it isn't a mark of the community
-furry has a sexual side, therianthropy really doesn't
-Furries may have multiple personal avatar characters, therians identify with a specific species or subspecies of animal
-Therianthropy has spiritual connotations and is often intertwined with spiritual beliefs, furry is just a fandom
-Furries (in general) tend to see therians as role-players who
