Sadie Kane and Anubis- I'm only on the first book, but the possibility of a romance there, funeral god be damned, is adorable. When I was going through my three-year egyptian phase, Anubis was probably my favorite.

I had a phase for egyptology too, from when I was seven to about when I was 11 or 12. A study of Art History renewed my passion for their art forms, and of course, reading the Kane Chronicles was certainly a good way to renew my basic mythology. (I know Greek myths a little better, having committed them to memory when I was little.) I love this couple so much; without giving away too many spoilers, I think you're going to be happy with how their romance turns out in the end of the final book, The Serpent's Shadow.
